Do I need an account to book?

Accepted Answer

No. Guest checkout is the default - you only need a name, email and phone number. We'll email you a reference you can use to look the booking up later.

When is my reservation confirmed?

Reservations start as pending while we check your licence. Most are confirmed within a few hours during business hours, and you'll get an email and text as soon as the status changes.

Can I change my dates after booking?

Contact us and we'll move them if the vehicle is free. If it isn't, we'll find you the nearest equivalent in the fleet.

How do promo codes work?

Enter the code on the booking form and the discount is applied to the rental subtotal before tax. Some codes require a minimum rental length, which we'll tell you if the code doesn't apply.

What is the deposit and when do I get it back?

The deposit is an authorisation hold on your card, not a charge - the money never leaves your account. We release it once the car is returned and checked, and your bank typically clears it within three to five business days.

What's included in the price?

The daily rate, a stated service fee, and tax. Insurance, mileage over the included allowance and fuel are separate.

Is there a mileage limit?

200 miles per day are included, pooled across the rental. Additional miles are $0.35 each, charged at return.

Do you offer weekly or monthly rates?

Yes, and we apply them automatically. If a weekly rate works out cheaper than seven daily rates, you get the weekly rate without having to ask.

What are the age requirements?

Drivers must be at least 21 and have held a licence for a year. Drivers aged 21–24 pay a young driver fee of $25 per rental.

Can someone else drive the car?

Additional drivers are welcome but must be added to the agreement and present their licence at pick-up. There's no extra charge.

Can I take the car out of state?

Yes, anywhere in the continental United States. Let us know if you're planning a long trip so we can schedule servicing around it.

What happens if the car breaks down?

Roadside assistance is included for the whole rental. Call the number on your rental agreement and we'll get you moving or get you another car.

What's your cancellation policy?

Free cancellation up to 48 hours before pick-up. Inside 48 hours we keep one day's rental; no-shows are charged in full.
